From Kindness.org:

Firing up our Connections!

My bother in law, a semi-retired fire investigator for the National Forest, needed to stop at the post office on our way to do some errands.

Patting the box resting on the car’s armrest, wrapped and ready to go, he said, “I’m sending out a firefighter’s t-shirt and a neat bobblehead doll of Smokey the Bear (donated by NF when they heard about the request) to a nephew of Chrissie (a previous tenant that moved, but is still in contact with on FB). He’s got spina-bifida, and can’t move much. I guess he’s sort of paralyzed, but loves firefighter stuff.”

Kindness! It fires up our connections, don’t you think?? :)))
